I would look at The Scarlet Letter and focus on the character Dimmesdale.

Hypocrisy is a major theme in Anna Karenina : This theme is first touched upon with the novel's epigraph: "Vengeance is mine, I shall repay." This epigraph is a warning to both Russian Society and to the reader that the only person allowed to judge is God. The rest of us, being imperfect, merely make ourselves into hypocrites when we judge someone else. Russian Society is full of hypocrites in this book‹indeed, the very corruption of this society is symbolized by the way socialites treat Anna after she elopes with Vronsky. Although most members of Russian Society (men and women included) conduct extra-marital affairs, they turn on Anna when it turns out that her affair goes deeper than mere carnal desire. Princess Betsy is an excellent example of the hypocrisy in Russian Society. (1st link)
Hypocrisy is the major theme in The Scarlet Letter. Hawthorne’s work was meant to highlight the hypocrisy in Puritan society, and in the people that make up the society. The Scarlet Letter was meant to expose just how much of a sin hypocrisy is, and just how it causes so much pain and suffering. (There's a nice long write-up at the 2nd link)
Hypocrisy was also a prevalent theme in The Catcher in the Rye. “Phoniness,” which is probably the most famous phrase from The Catcher in the Rye, is one of Holden’s favorite concepts. It is his catch-all for describing the superficiality, hypocrisy, pretension, and shallowness that he encounters in the world around him. In Chapter 22, just before he reveals his fantasy of the catcher in the rye, Holden explains that adults are inevitably phonies, and, what’s worse, they can’t see their own phoniness. Phoniness, for Holden, stands as an emblem of everything that’s wrong in the world around him and provides an excuse for him to withdraw into his cynical isolation. (Read more at the 3rd link)

Wuthering Heights. Cathy was a terrible hypocrite. What she said behind Heathcliffe's back that he overheard was pure hypocrisy on her part. Pax - C
