I don't think violence and immorality is done through a unilateral process of media but this process is one that is bilateral in nature. It goes both ways. Media (movies is a very significant but only one form of media) influences society and society influences what goes on in media. To demolish all horrible movies and such, would not solve the whole problem of curing all social ills within society. We'd need to provide a better context for everyone - laws ensuring children receive the protection from abuse (emotional and physical), social services and social support (people to leave abusive situations, decrease the need for crime), "cleaner media" and many other things - restructuring society as a whole and through individual pieces, would be needed to help society.

Yes I do think a lot of Hollywood movies are evil in the way of posing violence and such to the younger crowd. But, in the same respect, there are teenagers who do not follow this pattern and can watch these movies and do nothing of the such. Also parents are another thing to question, if they are not old enough to be watching these movies in the first place then it is the parents fault (unless the parents were not present and had no idea it was going on, if not, then should know the babysitters with which they leave their kids). Bottom line is.......to each their own, you could look at it either way but everyone has a choice when it comes to watching movies.

I agree with you somewhat. Movies nowadays do show a ton of violence and things that kids should not be learning to do but in the end it is not Hollywood's fault.
It is the kids fault for doing this (unless they don't know better) and the parents for not teaching them that these things are bad.
Teens and kids can play and watch violence all they want, but how is it Hollywood's fault for that person to not be responsible for themself.
In the end a person chooses their own actions, not someone/thing else.

I totally disagree with you.....
Movies, video games and tv are not the cause of kids being out of control.
It is the parents who are responsible for teaching their kids right and wrong, but in today's society parents are letting their kids run all over them.
When I was growing up kids got disciplined not just talked to.

Yes and no. TV's and newspapers carry the same violence. PC's and video games will give them the same violence.
It all comes down to the parents.
