Ha got ya, who ever clicked on that question and wanted to answer yes, YOU ARE WRONG

Bettas are NOT happy and healthy in a bowl or in a 1 gallon tank

It's your responsibility to your fish to get at LEAST a 2.5 gallon tank with heater and filter for your betta

There is no truth behind that, that a betta is happy in little bowl?!?!?!

Would you like to be confined to a space of 2X2???
Don't think so

Remember one thing, you're going to cut down your betta's life to about 2 years if you're lucky

But if taken proper care it can live up to 7 years!!!!!

So what would you reather have, a happy and healthy betta or one that has a short expected life because of your iresponsibility?????

Voice your opinions
Have fun

Please to all the store keepers, we know that you have no other way then to keep them in bowls or small cups!!

No you can't, even in the wild they have more space and can travel, but in a bowl they can't
You would need a trip system to provide the same environment as it's in the wild

The rice patty theory is bunk too. Have you ever seen a rice patty. It may only be a few inches deep, but they occupy a large area and have much smaller population densities than what we put in our tanks. The water is also constantly/frequently replenished. They do not live in puddles in the wild.

My betta is perfectly fine in his lovely, constant 75 degree lighted and filtered 1 gallon aquarium that has two cups of water changed every day, thanks.

It's better than his life in a tiny cup.

Yes you can, they naturally live in small spaces. They're used to it.
