hey I can't sleep either so I'm just playing on the computer till I'm tired! You should try that too, or watch some tv for awhile, read a book, or get a small snack and a glass of ice water. Maby that will help =]]

Do something really really boring. Try not to worry about not falling asleep. Go to bed, and if you can't fall asleep in 20 minutes, get up and watch a boring TV program or read something boring. Then go to bed again. Do something that will relax you like deep breathing or drinking a caffeine-free tea like chammomile tea.
Stay away from caffeine, especially in the evening. Some people are sensitive to caffeine, and it will keep them from falling asleep.

if u have anything on your mind write it down.
try taking a shower before so you'll be fresh and relaxed.
try to set ur themostat to 67 degrees(a normal sleeping tempurature).
be comfortable with a nice fluffy pillow and sheets and blankets.

Try to relax, most of the time its because you have a lot on your mind. You might even try to listen to the radio or put the television on and zone out, that helps me :)

drink a glass of milk with a spoon of honey...or eat a cheese sandwich. reading books can help as well..but don't read newspapers or magazines...and do not watch TV
