b)(a^2/3 b^5/6)(a^1/2 b) / (ab)^1/3
=a^(2/3+1/2-1/3) b^(5/6+1-1/3)
=a^5/6 b^11/6

c)(a^1/4 b^3)^1/2 / (a^1/3 b^1/4)^-5
=a^1/8 b^3/2 / a^-5/3 b^-5/4
=a^(1/8+5/3) b^(3/2+5/4)
=a^43/24 b^11/4

d)(a^1/2 + a^1/2)(a^1/2 - a^1/2)
=a^2(1/2)-a^2(1/2)

Add when multiplying
Subtract when dividing

a) 4 a^(7/8) / a^(2/8) = 4 a^(5/8)

b)

a^(7/6) b^(11/6) / a^(2/6) b^(2/6)
