Faux Tan by Bare Essentials - I'm super super pale and all other fake tanners are orange-based, not a brown-base. It makes it look like I'm totally able to be in the sun! All other tanners, even if I put them on lightly, have an odd shade to them, giving away that I'm of extreme northern decent. lol
and it has this wonderful cherry-like scent.

The best fake tan is none at all. You simply pretend you have a tan. It costs nothing and can be accomplished instantaneously.
Plus, you don't end up looking like someone who used a bunch of fake tanning lotion to dye their skin.

I buy jergens firming moisturizer tint and everyone swears I look like I have been in the sun after only one application. I put it on after a shower daily and it does deepen up. I do exfoliate and so some comes off, but reapplication makes it look more real. And it firms rough spots, too.

faux tan by bare escentuals, it's the only one not smelling like self-tanner., it has a nice almond scent. for best results get their"liquid loofah" also, to exfoliate before using "faux tan".

Its cheap, $6.15 on the internet, and a couple more bucks at the nearest Kwik-E-Mart....
