No, I would skip that jumping off the bridge part, and ask him for a ride up to the pearly gates. Kind of like Superman and Lois Lane.

i wouldn't jump.
if they're miserable because I'm alive, then they don't deserve to be happy, and that's what jumping would do, make them happy.
