Odds are, yes. There has yet to be an empire of great power that has not eventually fallen. Many believe that our decline is just around the corner if it hasn't already begun.

Life is a circle, everything rises, falls, then rises again. America will fall, but the former Americans will not go extinct, we will live as something else.

Don't know why everyone thinks if this government is gone they are going to die... bunch a good nationalistic conditioning, I guess???

it will eventually all do. maybe not lose all but will be surpassed. but you had better hope it doesnt do it in a fast way. it would devistate more than just the US. it would bring finacial ruin to a lot of places. many people would love to see it happen but the results would be catastrophic.

Its like a lot of people hate walmart and would love to see it go away, but if there were no more walmart tommorow look at the big pitcture. how many out of work (walmart employees) how many companies that supply walmart would be hurt or crippled? how many towns would be devistated. how many countries that supply walmart would be hurt.

you have to look at the big picture when you wish for something. i am not saying you are from your question just stating what would happen.

America is a land mass. There would have to be some serious seismic activity for it to fall.

If you meant the United States of America, clearly it will not last forever. It will be replaced sooner or later.

Many people believe that we'll be destroyed from the inside by the government (especially those that agree with conspiracy theories).

And other's think we might be taken down by some other country (since everyone seems to hate us).

We don't even really have unity within the country to hold ourselves up. Who knows if we'll topple over or not.

I sure hope not, however throughout history it appears that every major country who has the power that america does, ends up falling.

History has shown that all great nations fall, but we have an advantage.Thankfully,we have a government that changes it's leader every 4 yrs.By changing leaders,we can decide our great nation's course and role in the world.

Definetely- The US are draining themselves quite rapidly of naturalresources, and it has been estimated that by the turn of the century both China and India will be the ecconomic and political power houses of the world.

Let's hope it doesn't. Even though it is considered 'cool' around the planet to be Anti-American, the US is just as fine a country as any other.
