So a little kid is following me and my friends.
he lives next door but is a relative and ALWAYS wants to play with him.
we have like for a day but its not exactly fun to hang with a 4 year old.
so we tried ignoring him but he keeps talking and wont stop.
and if we like tell him to just go away he'll cry and cry and sorta get us in trouble
so what we need to do is make him just leave us alone.
help?
He's 4 and a boy.

Ask his mother to keep a better eye on him and not let him go wandering off from his own house.

I find that the best way to do it is to get someone else to answer the door and let them tell the kid straight up that don't like kids. Unless you want to be really polite about it, then you can tell them that high school really is hell and you keep getting four hours of homework every night and go somewhere else to play basketball. Children also tend to use their sadness to one up you. It's manipulation. Don't say 'Oh well, you look sad so I guess I should play with you to cheer you up" because then they'll keep coming back. It's like feeding wild animals. Feed them once and they'll want to feed them again, and again and again. Or you could just completely lose your sh*t and yell at the kid. Then he'll never talk to you again. It seems cruel, I know, but it WORKS.

Put yourself in his place..he is just looking for attention...now girl how can you complain about a 4 year old..he isn't old enough to tell your secrets or what you talk to your friends about...you and your friends can pay attention to him for half an hour then ask him politely that if he can go inside and play so you and your friends need to get something very important done then you will all get together and play with him later.and keep the promise you will see how fast he will agree to your decision based on being there for him........

Talk to his mom. Tell her that you are concerned that some of your friends may not know how to act around such a young child, and you hope she will find him some same age kids and make play dates.

Let her know that you care about him, but that he cannot join your play group, as his age is much too young. Make it clear that it is her responsibility to make sure that he isn't around to bother you and your friends.
