The question is not can you get pregnant, but how likely it is to occur. And it's not really highly likely, if you have been taking them for a year and were three days later. You can get pregnant on Depo, but it's not likely. However, all birth control methods have a certain failure rate. If you mixed the recipe for a baby, then a baby is always a possibility. In your case though, it's not a really good one.

You can get pregnant ON depo, so yes you can get pregnant if you were 3 days late taking the last one.
NO contraceptive (INCLUDING DEPO) is 100% effective.
