I am not very good at this dating scene. I hate the bar scene, and I am so busy when I have the kids that I dont' know how to start. What is the best way to meet women, talk to them and yet let them know that the kids are priority number one in my life at this time? I hate not having someone in my life, but I also want my kids to come first and I realize this is not what most women are going to want to hear. My kids are 10, 9, 5 and nearly 3. HELP, WHERE TO I START AND AM I TOO DAMN OLD TO EXPECT THAT YOUNG ROMANCE THAT I REMEBER FROM DATING 12 YEARS AGO? HELP!!!!

you are not to old...there are many people that start over older than you...and if you find a good woman she will know that your children are number 1 priority that makes you a good man....as to where to look, not really sure looking myself...bars are definately not a good place to look for a good person though......

The romance is still out there. You are not too old to find new love. Look around your town for parents with out partners, or singles clubs. People join these looking for someone new. If you find someone, date them for a long, long time before you commit to them. When you first meet someone you are only meeting their Representative. Give it time for the real person to show up. Share your values, your likes and dislikes and your plans for the future. Ask them theirs. Tell them up front about the children. There are a lot of women out there so start looking. Also ask for a medical back ground check before you marry her and have sex, there are deadly diseases in the world today. Go for it. You can do it.

No you are not too old! My father dated at 84 and started a new relationship! Join groups. Become involved in community events. Volunteer your time for activities where the kids can also be involved. When a woman shows an interest in you, be truthful about the kids - if she is really worth your interest then it won't matter. Good luck..
