Because all the people have an inner child that we need to express..

and because the world is needed of magic
cause they`re sick of ilegitimate wars, terrorism, the diseases, the climate change, natural catastrophies, the insane hungry of money, the lost of values, etc...for all of this things the people need harry potter, superman, wonder Woman, the Lord of the rings, etc,etc
the people need hope and those characters show a little peace of hope in a very empty society

I love Potter as well as other fantasy books for a simple reason. They take me places I could never go to. I love the feeling that I was right there seeing real magic and things that do not exist when I walk out my door. It's a slice of heaven.

Well, its simple, isnt it ? Because its MAGIC ! It just makes your feel so magical and stuff when you actually start reading the book and taking in what JK Rowling is trying to say. The book, just takes you to a place you never dreamed off and characters you never met anyone like them. I mean, you might have a friend or relative that has the same characteristics like Harry, Ron, Hermione etc. but its never like them EXACTLY !

hi
i love harry potter books and also the character himself.
the book has taught me much more than any other book.
the courage that harry shows n his will to survive wen nothings going right gives me strentgh.
its like a example that tells us do not give up hopes.
right 4m his birth harry has all the troubles in the world but still he shows the desire to survive the wish to fight n that whats life is abt.....
in the end happiness will seek the 1 that truly deserves it!!!!!!!!!
harry lost his parents, his god father, dumbledore, his owl,his wand(though he got it in the end),lupin but still he lived.
it all goes 4m the start"the boy who lived is the boy who survived"
it means a person vl live only wen he is ready to pay the price 4 life.
harry is like a example v shud follow though i must say v r never going to fight voldomort IN person
enjoy
4 knowing more y ppl love harry sooo much go n read harry potter books that vl give u sum idea
have a nice day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i really didn't or still don't like harry i did however enjoy the book think of it this way the book series was like a big rumor or a movie which take you to imagine what going to happen next and once you finish the first book you knew there was going to be another and was excited to find out what was going to happen and so on until it finally ended....the ending i felt was ashamed and not well planned but i know alot would disagree with me but like i said it something that you get drawn into and just want to find out what happen at the end.....

Because its a great writing piece. it has a unique story, unlike all those used up plotlines, it has adventure and action, its funny, creative, it grabs your attention, and the charactures are great, its descriptive and imaginative, it shows love and loss, its not one of those books when they win everything, only the bad guys die, and every character is so complex, and not all the secrets are revealed in he same book they are introduced, so it keeps you reading. Thats why people love harry potter!

yes even harry potter made me find new friends

and specially my grandson who has become my best friend

there is so much that J.K has given me through harry

like my relation with my grandson

and it also is a very good story to potray that goodness really really towers over evil

the world that J.K creates

it can be really be related to our world because we are also fighting terrorism and corruption

and most of all J.K has really really mirrored my views on death and love

like death is not the one thing that seperates us from our near ones

it never did

all the things that seperate us are present in this very world that we live in

and death should be given it's respect

it was also brilliant that such philosophical views came in the simple FANTASY series

now m thinkin that fantasy and philosophy has really got a connection

i cannot tell it here it would turn out to be a speech

because it's written in such a way that you get trapped in the world of Harry Potter and you forget about the real world...it's enchanting, you can never let go of the book until you finish it, and then you have to read it all over again almost imediately

Because it's magic. Something that we can't get in the real world.. So it's like fantasy.. No one can have such powers but when we are reading the book, we FEEL magical..

know what i mean?

Truthfully, who doesn't like magic? It's also a simple read (allowing people of all age groups to relish in its glory), that's entertaining and in some ways a bit mysterious.
