i was wondering which years were better. Living in the 90s like 1990 till 1999 or 2000 till present. which one you prefer and why. Politically, musically, fashion wide, game wide, pratying wide, and what not.

I actually liked the 80's the best (I am 27) because the places where I live and grew up and was born were not so horribly busy, traffic-y, and the people were less pushy and rude. The fashion styles were also creative and amusing more than now.

I was not much aware of politics at the time, and I miss that innocent bliss.

To answer your question, I liked the 90's better than the new millinum as of yet because the country was not at war, gas was cheaper, I had experiences I would never dare have again, and I did not mind Bill Clinton.

lol at this question, its actually one I've compared in my head before..
I preferred the 90's. I was 20 in '90, and I partied like there was no tomorrow. I had a very social life, dated lots of hot guys, and had the time of my life. I had a cheap apartment, a good job, disposable income... Long story that I dont want to get into but this millenium hasnt started well for me...
Glam rock in the early 90's was the best, I loved Poison, Crue, Ratt, Whitesnake, etc etc, the hair bands lol
Fashion was interesting in the bar scene, the big hair, the tightest possible jeans you could squeeze into, the shortest skirts, the highest heels... wow, the memories I'm having while writing this..haha
Yeah, I preferred the early 90's the best of all...

90's. I believe when Clinton was in office the economy was much better. I kind of like many of the fashions right now though. However to me a good economy rules over good fashion. Music I think was better in the 80's, but I am into Heavy Metal at heart.

1990's

people didnt blow each other up quite as much, there were still singers who could actualy SING without synthesisers, good movies, less technology so we still talked to each other, people didnt spend every spare minute on the internet, the music was ok....., um....

i think people are getting more selfish, not everyone of course, but as the years go by, i see less respect. nowdays, its all about me me me and what can i do for me, ooo a seat on the train..i dont gove a damn if there is a pregnant lady or and elderly man, im just gonna plonk my butt there and ignore them...

its so sad.....and its growing

oo..people were also a bit thinner than they are now

the good 'ol days are gone. lets hope that this new trend doesnt continue and that we wil take a firmer stand against gloabl warming and other important issues

God bless

sorry for ranting! i had to get it off my chest!

for me the 90's were a little better. i had a lot more freedom(no husband or children then) and i felt that we were in a good place as a country. music and fashion were so-so(hindsight can be scary! lol)
but i wouldn't trade my life now for my life then! i have 3 wonder kids that were all born in 2002, 2005, and 2006!!

Well I was just a child in the 90's, and there's been some bad things happen in this decade, but I'd have to pick this decade.
I guess because I am still young.

I was a kid but considering urban decay, racism, crime were still the norm id say now though entertainment was great, fashion was better than the 80s but not by a lot, though I must admit everything seemed fun. ah good times man I miss the gas guzzling box shaped police cars and taxis for some reason
