A talent agent gets strictly 10% of your pay, nothing more. Other types of reps get more (managers generally take 15%, Print agents take 20%, etc.) but an actor's agent by rules of the Screen Actor's Guild and all contracts they govern may only take 10%, period and they take that AFTER you get paid for a job that they helped you get.

Nothing. You NEVER pay an agent.

Agents work ONLY on commission.

They get 10% to 15% of the money the actor make.

If somone asks you for money, immediately LEAVE their office because they are a SCAM. NEVER, NEVER pay a Talent Agent.
