We all live in the fast lane, unfortunately... Fast food, fast cars, fast internet service, sleeping less and working more... No one really has any patience in a relationship anymore...

Sheila, above said what I would have like to have said but am too tired. I do find it odd that you pick Jennifer Aniston. She simply broke up with someone she has been dating. She is divorced from Brad Pitt but she handled it with such class and as much privacy as her life in the public eye allowed. I wasn't even a fan prior to her divorce, but now I actually LIKE her and wish her happiness. Social prostitute? I think you have Brad's ladies mixed up. ;)
Seriously, there are a lot of things I don't like about our culture but FREEDOM as a woman to have a choice in ALL I do or say, is not one of them. I can see why you defend your culture, it is YOURS after all but expect the same in return.
I do think marriage is a HUGE commitment, not to be taken lightly, just like your culture does. As you put it, "doesnt believe on ? breakups until and unless its a big problem." Not knowing Aniston, or any of the other Western celebs personally, how can YOU be the judge of the scale of any of their problems? You can't. Even if they were your best friends, NO ONE truly knows what goes on in a marriage except the husband and the wife.
I take it your blog is not too popular since you must attract attention from Yahoo! Answers?

I feel that specifically, the US,is WAY too focused on celebrity. I really don't care what Hilton, Lonhan, Spears, etc. are doing. When I'm trying to find some "real" news, all I see/hear is about some "stars"exploits. For hours on end, if I wanted to watch. of course, there's cable stations which covers only celebrities.
There's more important stories to cover.

Smile. That was like waking up in 17th century somewhere outside of Viking village. They were barbarians. And this is exactly what you are. You and your backward traditions somehow survived the evolution of human spirit over the centuries. But instead of catching up to other more advanced cultures, you keep insisting on slowing down the progress. Good thing: no one is listening.

It is called freedom of choice...If one understands that one has made an error or that one lives in an unbearable situation, one has the freedom to leave... I would not suggest the (i) place which you mentioned... This is the place where a"mercy killing" is okay if a woman decides on her freedom...
The article you mentioned is so backwards and disrespectful in its ideas, it makes me sick...To call a woman who dates more than one man a "social prostitute" views her as property and not as a person... This is truly sick and twisted... Lack of divorce due to social bullying and threatening a woman's life is so prehistoric, and psychologically demented, it is truly unfathomable. Please do not try to defend this utterly disgusting and intolerant view on us.
