Depends where you are but we have snow in the southern highlands every year. We even got snow in non-snowy places this year. Temperature-wise, average is between 5-17C in Vic and NSW (but NSW will generally be a little warmer day by day); the ACT goes to -3C most nights but warms up during the day a bit; Tas is just freakin' cold all year. If you go norht of the Tropic of Capricorn you're lookin at summer weather all year round. (ie. NT is 17-28 in the dry, ie. winter equivalent)

i don't know where your from but its freezing here in Australia, i hate the cold the nights are probably 4 degrees and the days around about 17, too cold for me

depends where abouts in Australia you mean. I'm in Brisbane. The coldest it ever gets on the rare occassion is zero. But some places get colder, and up north, they don't get as cold
