i like enya, but honestly her music all sounds rather similar compared with the really diverse sound of enigma, so they get my vote.

Enya mixes her tracks in layer-simple thing to do, to get her sound. Enigma has a very unusual sound, that I appreciate, and cause more of an emotional reaction from me. I do prefer Enigma.

Enya. I always find her stuff engaging and relaxing, and a cut above a lot of the "New Age" crap out there. I can't keep a straight face listening to Enigma, particularly that hit song that I call Gregorian Phone-Sex. Pretentious and hysterical at the same time. Apologies to my friends here who are Enigma fans.

I love both, I listen to Enya when I want to go to sleep and I listen to Enigma when I need some words of wisdom and inspiration my two favorite songs are "Return to Innocence" and "Gravity of Love" so I guess I prefer Enigma !!! =)

Enigma.
Look, Enya's stuff is beautiful and all, but I'm much more impressed that Enigma can actually make Gregorian chant funky and, frankly, highly erotic.

Both actually, but by far ... Enigma! i used to have the album by Enigma but it got stolen, and there was a track on it that was just sensational, it had lots of pan flute's as the orchestral section of the music, and a mean base sound as well. i hope to get another copy of it one day.
