i've recently broke up with my boyfriend. we were together for 6 years. to me, it ended in bad terms. both financially and emotionally. he is already seeing another. he is seeing my so called" friend"s' friend. add injury to insult.
this past week, he has been calling me , leaving me voicemails like "im in trouble, i need help"... i cant and dont want to speak to him or anyone that knows him because
it still hurts... plus, why talk if he has "moved on"? so, a few days ago, i changed my cell phone number because i feel hurt and betrayed by the whole situation. am i right to disconnect my contact info? if yes, why do i feel bad?

I went through the same thing, however i think i may have you beat on a couple of things.... My ex started hanging out w/ who i thought was a good friend and also became addicted to something i absolutely despise. Do you have children? Well we do, or actually *I* do. He's obviously moved on and forgotten his family, so i did the same. If he keeps calling you and asking for help its only because he's almost sure you'll be there. Believe me hon, it happened to me. You gotta show him that if he's moved on, then he can ask the person that he moved on with for the help. Don't allow him to think that just because you may still have feelings for him, he's gonna have you at his beg and call. As for changing your cell phone number, GOOD JOB, that already shows that you're getting ready to move on!

I think so, You probably still like him, or love him...
Think of it as this...
"He's missing out not me."
I know it'll be tough but you just gotta move on.

Good luck.

It might help to change your number, especially if he has been mean to you.
