yeah, they were definitely a sleeper team. they probably won't make the playoffs though. they have a tough division and the brewers or the cubs will be the wild card

Last year the Dodgers took the Wild Card. This year the Diamondbacks are one and two with the Dodgers for the division and the Wild Card. While it's way too early to call, a lot of people, including the Dodgers and Padres no doubt are shocked at the D'Backs surge. It's still early and pitching is the most important thing. But, yes they are surprising.

yes the dbacks are a good young team. and like most young teams they are very streaky. the key to them making the playoffs and possibly doing well in them is to get hot at the end of september and ride the emotion through october. The cubs and brewers both have been hot for quite some time and have a pretty weak schedule from here on in, so if they can beat the teams they should beat they should both make the playoffs.

I agree with Steve. Brewers and Cubbies are neck to neck and its gonna be one or the other. Also, they have to catch a few teams in their division cause they have to win the division if they want to make the playoffs.

man i am a believer...they are gonna take the division b/c the dodgers pitching is falling apart and the padres can't hit (sometimes arizona can't hit either but oh well). arizona has gotten hot at the right time too. by the way eastmillguy they are tied for first right now so they dont gotta catch anybody.

arizona completely surpsied me i thought they were as bad as pittsburgh
i give them a high chance of making the wildcard i dont believe the loser cubs have a chance of doing anything
