I have a website and I want to know how people get pages that are ubber long and they have links at the top so when you click them it puts you on the same page, but to a certain part of the site...
Does anyone know how to do this?

If that helps any. Also, if you know a better FREE website creator that you DO NOT have to download anything for, what is it?

that would be a hotlink to a part of the page right?

to link directly to it: this links to the hotlink on the page
and that's all there is to it
a free website creator better than most is Dreamweaver (macromedia.com). it's a 30-day trial, but if you can book it down you should be able to finish in 30 days. (anything you get from not downloading the program itself is REALLY going to slow you down in the long run)

You can simply click your mouse and highlight the script or portion of the script and attachan Anchor to link it wherever you want it to go.
If you are using some of the many free stuff out there you may not be able to do this. However with almost all the good software it is really easy to do.
