2x² + x - 1 > 0
(2x -1)(x + 1) > 0

if you were graphing y = (2x - 1)(x + 1), you'd have a parabola that opens upward and crosses the x axis at 1/2 and -1. It is below the x-axis between those values and above it for x < -1 and x > 1/2. so your sign graph should be the x-axis with dots at -1 and 1/2, a minus in between, plus left of -1 and right of 1/2.

2x^(2)+x-1>0

2x^(2)+x>1

2x^(2)+x-1>0

(x+1)(2x-1)>0

x+1>0

2x-1>0

x<-1_-1
x<-1 makes the expression positive_-1
x<-1orx>(1)/(2)

This all I can tell you. I tried to graph it, but I just couldn't get it graphed. Sorry!!
