The husband should always love the wife no more and no less throughout the marriage. It's just that it changes to different kinds of love.

It is written that husbands should love their wives as they love themselves but it does not say its always. what make husbands love their wives more then?
1. doing your responsibilities as wife and mother. This includes cleaning, cooking, making sure kids are feed and always keep your house extra clean
2. dress nicely, comb your hair neatly
3. respect your husband. Don't keep on nagging and bugging him unnecessary. In case you have problem discuss with him politely
4. think what to say and how to say it and when to say
5. sometimes give your husband a break
6. Be a good planner and organizers, especially financially and Cherise what you have
7. Love and support your husband when doing things that are beneficial to the family
8. discover your husband need and provide if you can. e.g sex, and other materialistic things
9. Avoid confrontations and arguments at all cost
10. Avoid swing mood and altitudes which men don't know how do deal with it

I agree with you - love develops and deepens over time, so as we grow together through our life experience we get closer and closer to each other, and love each other more - but i guess in a different way to the crush that happens early on in a relationshi ( I guess i'm answering as a wife, but I asked my husband and he agrees too!)

husbands and wives should love each other unconditionally from being to end of their lives. Yes, no one's perfect but there's perfect moments. There's going to be rough times but love and commitment and a spiritual foundation having Jesus Christ as the center of your marriage will make it divine in moments that are not so divine. Thanks be to God!

he should always love his wife the same as he does every other day but since women can get harmones so he has to show as much love as he feels and if he doesnt hes shallow

Love ebbs and flows... sometimes it is hot, other times it is deeply passionate, and once in awhile things hit a rut or dry spell... it doesn't last forever, but it can't be forced, based on what 'should' happen.

He should love you all the way through but hopefully the love should get stronger as time goes on.
