Does anyone know what 260.71% of 600 is or if you could just tell me how to figure it out that would be great. I tried 600x0.2671 and got 156.426 but I'm not sure if that is correct.

you're on the right track, but what you solved for was 26.071%, not 260.71%. instead, here is your equation:

600 x 2.6071 = 1564.26

I think it's 1564.26.

You had a liitle mistake on the decimal place, because 260.71% could also mean 2.6071, not 0.2671. You just multiply 600 and 2.6071 to get the answer.

Finally, remember that 100% is 1.

You can work it out longhand as others have suggested - and it's probably better to do it that way so you understand the concept. But if you want to use a calculator:
600 x 260.71 (hit the percent key here). Your answer should be 1564.26.

200+ % means more than twice of the actual amount.

600 X 2.6071 would give u the answer

Which is 1564.26 =)

Good luck in your maths

Try 2.6071 x 600 = 1564.26

200% will be twice as big... so you know the number will be a little more than 1200... good way to quickly check your answer.

You are close.
For a percentage move the decimal TWO places to the left.
That would be 600X2.6071 =1564.26

Hope that helped
