i asked the question why are my answers being deleted, and got 6 violation notices back to back. i thought everyone was being a bit silly over all this nonsense. and now i see that i am being deleted because i like certain people?is this high school?my question was not offensive and i mostly kid here or i am serious when needed, i am never offensive and i always thumbs up who ever answers me because they took the time to answer. i seriously cant fathom people being so damn stupid over questions from people they most likely will never meet. it irks the crap out of me that people are satisfied with themselves for turning another in over nonsense matters....i see questions on here that i would slap the crap out of someone if i truly knew them, i ignore those questions and pick ones that attract my sense of humor. is it really that hard for people to ignore what bothers them?i am just sitting here beyond myslef trying to comprehend and jusify all of this....its crazy nonsense

sand and sea, i noticed that here for the past two days most of my questions have been deleted i have read your blog and i agree, its silly and i think if you don notlike someone ignore them they dont pay your bils etc, so they have no bearing on your life, why the drama?

spitchus, you know you are one of my favorite people here. We don't always agree but we can always agree to see each others views. I wish that everyone were like that, but some are so closed minded that they think they have to exercise their report powers to silence a thought or person that openly challenges their view. It's all they can do, so at times it isn't sufficient to report just one question or answer, they have to keep reporting until their anger subsides or they run out of stuff to report. I suggest finding and blocking the person(s) responsible. The only reason I'm still around is because I block certain people.

I agree that it most be someone at yahoo who can delete xour questions. My believe is that since you ask many questions all the time, and many or most of them go a bit away from the category xou post them in, they are maybe automatically considered for deletion.
Could also be that someone reports xou, because sometimes you post many questions that have to do only with xourself.
They mostly interestingly funny, but I think that some automated tracker considers them chatting, which I think is not allowed according them.
Maybe posting them under General Culture and Society could bring better results? Most of us love you though, remember that.
xeah, I think that it is silly to thumb down people without giving and opinion as why.

I am not one of your contacts but I really can't understand why people keeps reporting answers or questions just because they disagree with what is written. I love Yahoo Answers because you can learn about others points of view in a lot of aspects..sometimes I don't agree, sometimes I just don't like the answer and sometimes offends me but...that's why the thumbs up/down are for. I only report questions or answers who have indecent or curse words, not even the racist ones I like to know that there are still some people out there who are racist and we need to do something about that to change it...but not deleting the answers will help. People just have to grow up!

The Loyalists and Regulars within P&S, and the
supporters--likely NOT the politically correct--as in,
those who think for themselves AND have a sense
of humor, as well as the noncompetitive who
possess a sense of decorum, all of these wrapped
into people who respect the love and camaraderie
and spontaneity and possibilities here: these
are the ones among us who matter, whose
stuff has made P&S what it is, and who had
drawn us here in the first place.
The rest are chaff.

Oh okay ... you've just realised this?
My questions get deleted all the time, and they definitely target certain people more than others.
However, I don't believe they were reported, as they rarely get a violation - it is Yah-poo itself that deletes the questions.
The only way it is someone on P&S doing it is if they work for Yah-poo and have access to all our Q&As and have the power to delete them at will.
Does this really happen? It is impossible to say.
