No amount of money is worth losing one's integrity. Money is temporary, your integrity lasts a lifetime...and longer.

No, it would be embarrasing if I knew the arresting agent.
I have a little experience at checking out embezzelment at a few banks. All these crimes were commited using the ATM as the cash source. When a complaint about missing cash would occur the first question asked was "Has anyone returned ""extra"" cash recieved?" If the answeer was "No" it was 99.99% certain the money was going out the back not the front.
ONLY in the movies do they spit out cash, but an old model had a drawer. Should someone not take the cash out it could go to the next person. It is cheaper to give it away than put the machine down.
It ususally took less than a day to check the machine, ask enough questions and scare the crap out of the thief. Problem fixed.
Why the long answer???
There are those that will take the bribe or steal something of value. There are those that won't. Most of the people that recieved the extra cash would bring it back to the bank.
It was easy in these cases to nail them. If you watch the news you will see how easy the big guys get nailed as well.
What is the common factor with the thief or the reciever of the bribe. Stupidity! They may not get caught at first. The more they get away with the more they take and the more careless they get. Suddenly the FBI is taking $90,000.00 out of your freezer and you are on TV attempting to convince people it is not what it looks like.

No I would not. I would be no better than the people committing the unlawfulness simply due to the fact I would be aware of the act or actions of the persons involved and did nothing to stop it.

I hope not. But I've seen too many people who say "absolutely not!" to all kinds of things then give in under certain circumstances to say I'm 100% sure. Let's say I'm 98% sure I would not.
