every time i play videos on youtube my internet freezes up.sometimes i cant get back on the internet and hane to restart the computer. whys this happening?

I guess you could do a system restore.
A system restore can make your computer go back in time to when it worked right unless you have a virus.
Before a System Restore, stop and save everything you're doing, because you will have to restart your pc.
To do a System Restore:
Start
Help and Support
System Restore
Then you will see a callendar. On this callendar click on the date that you can last remember your computer working right. then continue with the System Restore

I suspect your hard disk is low in space. When you computer has little hardisk space, it will run slowly, and sometimes freezes. Try doing a "computer cleaning" ... delete all unused files, etc. This should speed up your computer and may stop it from frozen.
And yes, if you wish to download and view youtube videos easily offline, just use "Zillatube" - it downloads and plays youtube video easily. In this case, you do not need to be online all them time.
