I think a lot of people would die for their beliefs...however naive or ghostly others may conceived them to be. One will guard with his own life the lives of his loved ones in this belief that nothing can ever harm all whom and all that which are part of his being...Knowing that these, if taken away from him, will snatch all his value, meaning, and reasons to be living.
And so do I. I'd gladly die for my belief of GOD, as MY SAVIOR. I'd willingly lay my life for all the people I love. As it is said: "There is no greater love than laying your life for your friends."

People die for what they believe in, whatever that may be. I myself would die for my children to protect them from harm.
