Yes, I went last year. It was a blast, with plenty to eat (including all-you-can-eat steak and lobster at one dinner service), fun excursions, and enough people to keep things interesting, but not to seem crowded. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
If you are planning on going, you may want to take along drinks in your luggage (some of the prices for soft drinks / alcoholic drinks can be expensive), and check around to see which cruise line appeals the most to the people in the age group you belong to (or are comfortable being around).
Planning ahead of time which excursions you want to take is good as well.
Hope this helps with your travel plans, and have fun!

depends on what your objective is. If 2 persons are on honeymoon and cannot be apart - yea, this would be an ideal vacation. If your intention is to immerse yourself in a casino cruise and do nothing but eat and visit the casino - this is also good. But if the same 2 persons are married for say, more than 10 years and need some space from each other, this is just not going to work at all (unless it's just a 2 days cruise)

Yes, back in 1981. It was on the S.S. Norway, the biggest cruise ship at that time. Went down to the Caribbean.
I did not enjoy it. Far too many people, and a lot of them the typical low-class obnoxious "ugly American" types. And I didn't like how regimented everything was.
I liked being at sea, though. I'd only do something like that again if I could go on something like Windjammer, which is only you and about forty other passengers.

I went on one when I was about 6 or 7. The owner of the ship gave us free tickets because he liked our Christmas lights. (We had 35,000 on our house) It was called the Hornblower and it just cruised around the Bay and came back. People just got really drunk and danced. I fell asleep. Some drunk lady fell while dancing, broke her leg and the owner took her into his office and didn't come out lol. It was SO borring. I would love to go on a cruise ship again, just not that one.

Never been on a cruise ship because, If I'm not enjoying myself and want to go home immediately, that would not be possible.
My Hubby was in the U.S Navy and I did go on a dependents cruise. I enjoyed that because we had a lot in common.
It was only for one day. I could handle that. LOL ~~~jill

Yes, I've been on two cruises, one in Greece the other in Hawaii, and I can't wait for the next one (probably to Alaska). It's so nice to be able to see so much but only have to unpack once, plus, the food has always been great.

Yeah, it was cool. We went on a structured cruise, where you had a set time to dine, but you can now do freestyle cruising where you eat when you want and do what you want when you want. I'd do it again.

I had yes I would do it over and over again if I have the money it was worth it less than $150 a day food unlimited food with shows and entertainment all that for less than $150 you paid more on land for a hotel room than on the cruise.a lot of fun.

I went in high school as a choir tour. So my time was kind of structured and the trip was full of rules.
I would like to go again to have a different kind of experience.
