For all these years my mom has done all the house work alone, but now she's going to be gone for a month. I need to take care of the whole house myself. I'm not used to doing all these house chores and i'm not familiar with it at all. I know I need to water the plants, feed the goldfish, change the tank, wash dishes, cook for dinner, vacuum, laundry, but what else am I missing? Give me suggestions?

don't forget to dust. sweep up - in general, clean the bathroom. if you clean up what you mess up, when it happens, the whole housework job will be easier. good luck to you. kudos for not leaving a huge mess for your mom.

Do all of the things that you mentioned, do some dusting with a cloth or featherduster. You don't have to do these things daily, except cooking and dishes. Just be sure that the house is clean. The main suggestion I have for you is to get up off of your a_ _ when your mother is around and help her out. Not to be harsh, but it's for your own good, and it prepare you for when you move into your own house.

How old are you? You should have been helping her for a while. You need to learn to do these things so you aren't a slob when you have your own place. Bathrooms are the dirtiest place in the house. Make sure you clean those. Keep garbage picked up. If you throw away wrappers as you open something it is easier to keep the house clean.

Mop vinyl floors, and dust.
