I am looking for a average cost it would take to open up a daycare center in San Diego and also how hard it is to do this? People I have asked can't give me a straight answer so I'm coming here.

It would depend in the size and location. You would need to buy or rent a building with a play yard. Get licensed and trained in things like CPR. Then furnishing the location, toys, desk, changing stations, cubbies for the kids whatever else you would want inside like carpet or drapes. The insurance and hiring people, doing background checks and training them making sure you have them all have CPR training. You will need some money for advertising, snacks for the kids and appliances like a frig to keep milk cold. You might also need fencing, a play area outdoors with big toys with soft landing places under them.
You might be able to do it between 10-20K depending on location cost.
