do you mean that you are going top be a tutor or that you are going to get one?

If you are going to be one then the advantages are that you can earn a bomb.

If you are going to get one, then the advantages are that if you get a good one then they can be really helpful towards the subject and know your strengths and weaknesses, if you one-on-one tuition then you get all the help and support you don't get in a classroom full of 30 students. However, you will have to pay for this and it doesn't come cheap. my maths tutor charged a fee of around £48 for the two hours, twice a week he tutored me.

If you are wanting to get one and you have the money go for it, they can be really worthwhile, i brought my predicted grade up from an E to a C. If you havn't got that kind of cash lying around the house, then ask a friend that is good in that subject to help you one day after school.

This question is quite odd. How do you go to tuition?
What has this got to do with debating competition?

Tuition:
1. the charge or fee for instruction, as at a private school or a college or university: The college will raise its tuition again next year.
2. teaching or instruction, as of pupils: a school offering private tuition in languages.
3. Archaic. guardianship or custody.
