If the cup has some thing in it ,it's full of something but only you know what that is .

Both. Just depends what perspective you posses at a particular point in your life. How would you know half full if you never knew half empty

Sometimes its three quarters full. Or Nine tenths empty. Optimism and pessimism come in degrees of variation. But pessimists are never disappointed.
If you are looking for a simple analogy to make the mysteries of life make sense, it doesn't exist. There are no easy answers or simple axioms to fit every situation. Life is sometimes hard sometimes easier, but never really simple. You just have to make your way through it the best you can.

yep, depends on how youre going to drink it. if the glass is full of sh*t, then i hope its half empty, when im thirsty then i hope its half full, all depends on how youre feeling at the moment. but half is half, either way, the cup is eventually going to be used though. and you can always think, the cup is half full of water and half full of air

the best response to this question I ever heard was that it's not half empty or half full, it's just another dirty dish in the sink.

Depending on your outlook on life. If you are optimistic, then life is half full, if you have a pesimistic outlook on life, the glass is half empty.

Defiantly half full, Not even half. I hope I have alot to look forward to. I have 5 beautiful children and I hope to have lots of Grandchildren and lots of greatgrandchildren.
