A couple days. I use it maybe three to four times before washing it.

I do laundry every weekend. That means the towels get used seven times before they're washed. We have wide towel rods so the towels can spread out to dry thoroughly between uses. They don't get smelly.
We have plenty of towels and rotate, so the towels aren't in constant use.

I only use a towel once or twice. Even though I just finished taking a shower, and using my loofah sponge my body still has dead skin cells. By using the same towel over and over you are simply wiping dead skin cells back onto your body. It is actually best to drip/air dry anyways. I do this alot. It's healthier for the skin and decreases the amount of towels you have to launder. I do this a lot of times, especially during the summer. Sometimes I will only try my feet and between my toes (to prevent fungus and athlete's foot) and them throw on my bath rob and let my body air dry.

As long as the towel gets spread out in the towel bar to dry my husband and I use ours for 3 showers before I wash them. We have too many people living in our house to wash ours everyday.

two towels per shower...
Use towel A, then towel B.
next shower: use towel B again and then towel C
Towel B goes into the laundry.
next shower: Use towel C again and then towel D
Towel C goes into the laundry... lather, rinse, repeat

I get use the Same Towel when getting out of the shower 4 to 5 times when drying off.
But......for the past few years, I've been 'Drip-Drying' when getting out of the shower.
(No Towel at all.)
Yeah, crazy but, my body heat can dry off the water on my body in like 10 minutes.

I might be a little weird about it, but I only use them once before I wash them. I know that I am clean when I come out of the shower and should probably use it more than once, but I just can't bring myself to do so.
