i try not to take anything for granted but i would have to say hope.

I used to take the simple act of walking and sensations for granted. I temporarily lost the use of my legs due to permanent nerve damage and surgery on my neck. I was in a wheelchair for a few weeks and had to literally learn how to walk again. I went from wheelchair to walker to cane and now use nothing, but my legs are permanently damaged. As I began to learn again how to walk I felt such different sensations going uphill, downhill, up stairs, etc. that I never noticed before.

I always take the love given by my parents for granted. My mother and I are two stubborn person. We always know we love each other by heart, but we didn't dare to put it in action =(.

Whenever i felt irritated by her, i quarrel and talk back. After that, i felt sad and wished i should not talk back =[. I always take her love for granted, but i wish i have the courage to show my love to her..
