I have been married for almost 4yrs with my beautiful wife. I'll do anything for her, i have proven this to everyone in our lives. She asks i respond, (not like a servant). Its just that when ever I ask of her she acts like she is very put out by the things i say. I have even found her ignoring me. This has been going on now for a little over a year. It is getting out of hand. This is now to the point that we can not even communicate. I have been always an open door to her when ever she has something to say, I do find (some) of the things she says facinating. She also has gotten very(very) lethargic in this year or so as well. She litterally lays in bed all day. She is not depressed just i think...lazy (I hate to say it). What should i do, I can not live like this any more. And yes we have been fighting about communicating. Please Help...

She's a damn control freak is what she is. She needs to get off her a double s and be the wife she promised she would be to you. It's funny seems like every nurse I know is the same way. They all lay in the bed all day long like they had it so much harder them anyone else. Please..................... Go get her up and tell her you two are going to talk NOW...........Then tell her how you feel about her staying in bed all day and not listening to you and tell her how you feel about all the rest of the things she does or doesn't do. And that you two need to get things together now or your afraid this just isn't going to work out. You don't want a divorce but you don't want to live like this for ever either.

I'd suggest going to a counselor and see if you guys can't work out your difference there. Nothing like a third party to help in a bad situation fresh perspective is always nice. This way you guys can both get your points across without interuptions and cutting each other off. But if you don't want to do a counselor than maybe try paraphrasing when you guys communicate. See if that helps maybe she feels your not hearing her and obviously you don't feel like she is hearing you.

Welcome to club marriage! Fours years is just about the correct target date for your bride to lay in bed all day, argue about everything you say or do and gain five hundred pounds. Buy her a twenty pound cooked ham, pack your clothes and move out of the trailer tonight. She will be so busy gnawing on the ham bone she won't notice you're gone for days.

Tell her how you feel, and don't hold back, she may be ill and not telling you why she is so down. Ask her if anything is wrong and how you can help make things better.

Does she work? Does she clean or cook? Maybe the two of you just need marriage counseling.
