They have intel processors now, so there's not much difference other than the rediculous price difference. I'm sure there is a hack somewhere that would allow Mac OS to be installed on a PC, so why pay the extra $1000 for a Mac?

Added comment after Jake answered: I never said that I can't afford it. I just don't see any point in paying $2000 for something that runs like a PC that I could build myself. I don't agree that they run better. They're just easier to use for beginner computer users and they are stylish for the homos like Jake.

Also mamaboy, I wish you could say something like that to my face (you'd probably try to kiss me). I'm sorry that I offended you fags. I was just asking a question about your precious Macs. I wasn't bashing. You guys make me want to go gay bashing.

Neither one of these answers give specific reasons why a Mac is better. I'm an advanced computer user and could understand any technical reasons why the Mac is better, but all I ever hear is "The Mac is better." I'm sure you think it's better because you are new to computers and Macs are easy, but I've been on computers since before you were born and would need to see some hard evidence before I would spend more money on something that may or may not be better. Anyone who can show that without adding their personal oppions would be Greatly appreciated.
