Nice woman, did good things to raise awareness and funds for cancer treatment - good on her.

But her music? What is the bloody point?

Yes, she did cover the Locomotion in 1987

She had a lot more hits than The Locomotion over the years and she's huge again here now (UK). WHY?"?!?

None. Her voice is thin and reedy with no range at all, she can't dance properly (compare her to a real dancer like say Christina Aguilera) she can't play an instrument and doesn't write any of her own songs. In short, she's talentless. But she has a cute smile, big lips and a nice bum so that has really helped! She also already had exposure and publicity via 'Neighbours' and somehow rode that wave and made it as a popstar. She's also been very savvy in borrowing from and copying trends and changing her image accordingly to appear cutting edge and 'with it'. I'm sorry she has suffered her terrible illness at such a young age, and she has been incredibly strong to continue after that. I also think she always comes across as a geunine, unpretentious and very decent person as well in interviews. But as a 'musical artist' she is rubbish.

She had a very popular version of "The Locomotion" at one point, and serves as a cute U.K. sex symbol, and gossip fodder.

Not everyone advances society, but fortunately not everyone retards it.

Kylie Minogue has got to be the most enduring female pop star of all time. Despite almost being 40, she still remains as hugely popular as ever. Men lust after her, females want to be her and she manages to have a bigger homosexual fan-base than any artist that embraces it as their sexuality.

Musically, she is in her pomp and if it wasn't for her illness sidelining her for 18 months, there would probably be a new album out to bask in the glow of her most successful tour ever.

After her illness she could have just walked away, but no, she came back full of professionalism and continued her tour where it left off.

I hate that woman, her voice Is the equivalent of a car exploding while scratching against a bunch of steel spikes. I know I will never hear what that actually sounds like but for now, It sounds like Kylie Minogue.

I think she is quite a good entertainer.

Her voice isn't what it used to be, but she can still put on a good show. A lot of acts try too hard to be trendy, where as she has always done her own thing and stood out as an individual for doing so.

Now her sister is pointless.....

Probably because she has talent, not every famous person is liked by everyone you know.
