Ok so i turned it on and now i cant see my start taskbar or any of my icons and i right click and nothing shows upso i was wondering what i could do to fix the problem.

press f8 when booting up the computer.
go into safe mode.
1st, scan the system for bad sectors!!!
go to dos and enter "chkdsk c: /r"
after the chkdsk completed, then disable any suspicious program causing the problem.
warning!!! backup 1st as it might crash the computer!!!

it sounds like windows explorer is not starting. pres cntrl+alt+del . click file @ the top menu bar and click new task. type in explorer.exe. ur desktop and all icons should now work. it sounds like u have a virus. the most popular way of getting them is through illegally sharing songs through programs like limewire. do a clean install of ur OS.

Remove any disk or CD. Unplug it. Then remove the battery for at least 30 seconds. Replace the battery and plug it in. Turn it on, and It should work just fine.
