People, including wives, aren't "property" and aren't owned by anyone. I realize that some cultures don't agree with this but we are all created as individuals, not possessions. My personal view of a married woman is a woman that chose to marry a man that, hopefully, she loves and wants to spend the rest of her life with. I can't think of any other view to have.

Here you go again, with the chauvinism. Women are not "property". We are not supposed to be bought or sold. We make our own decisions, pay our own bills, raise children, work, and all the things our male counterparts do. Women and men are EQUAL in a marriage. Now why don't you crawl back under the prehistoric rock you obviously live under??

did you just awake from a coma? wives property of husbands? this sounds like it belongs back in the 1950's. A marriage is a partnership plain and simple

Women, whether they be single, married, divorced, widowed, or anything else have the same "status". They are no one's property even as no man is anyone's property. We are human beings. We are no better nor worse than anyone else.

As any other JUST A WOMAN. A perfectly seperate entity who can speak, think, eat, talk, make money, all on her lonesome. Nobody should be anybody's "property". (okay so children under 18 are parents property but you get the point.)

No, I do not. Whatever the 'status' of the married man/male is, is the 'status' of the married woman/female. Because that is only right

No--that would be VERY rude --I view them as a married couple--no longer 2 people but 1 person I guess you might put it but never one owning the other
