Actually left, left left. right. But that's besides the point lol. Sorry. Well the commander guy would be like,"What's your problem soldier, are you 2 stoooopid to follow my orders?!? drop and give me 25! GO GO GOOOO!"

It is done that way because the calls are made on a certain foot. For different turns they must be called on the correct foot for the correct timing.

Hey, you left out " column left, Harch !! " and "to the rear, Har !! I'm not kidding, that's what it sounded like to me in boot camp.
