Mainly skate because of the grip they maintain for skaters but since they're a trend now, people pretty much turned them into streetwear so it would depend on your intrest..

They make some that aren't skatewear, although I don't know many people that wear the "non" skateboarding ones. I guess if you like them enough to wear them as streetwear aside from them falling under the skatewear category, wear them that way...even though most are made for skateboarding...

Vans are great shoes. I think they classify as both. Certain shoes of theirs, I would not want to skate in (like those slip-on flat ones with the different beaches on them). I believe they also make some shoes designed specifically for skating. Guess it depends which shoe you're talking about.

well first skatewear, and then streetwear. Both, i guess. I don't know lol! you are making me flustered haha. Yeah, well most skaters wear them so i guess skatewear and people try to copy them so they wear them as streetwear. But Vans is a skating brand. So i have to say......skatewear! wow, that was hard haha.

Both, really. They're a pretty good shoe. Hold up for quite a while.

Both, I wear NSS, they're pretty good too. Yet, I wear my shoes until they break, and then instead of getting new ones, I duct tape them. My NSS do very well with duct tape, even though my new pair haven't broken yet.
