anyone who is insulting the author please do not answer..And iam a christian and i read the harry potter books. I dont think anyone is gonna read a harry potter book beliveve in witch craft grad a broom and fall out there window...

The Weasleys,.. except Percy , coz he was annoying in the 5th book ... eugh...
Ron is funny and cool even though he has been jealous of harry and stuff he is still an awesome friend and i love him in the movies :)
Fred&George, well obviously!! Always funny and optimistic!!Love them!
Bill is cool coz well even tho he's not mentioned much you can tell he's unique with his hair and stuff.,..
Not really any comment about Bill ..dont really know him
I also really like the character of Ginny, she has a great personality and is strong, but can be sensitive at times too and helpful. Cant wait till the next movie, we'll finally see them kiss!! Harry and Ginny are the best couple, and Ron and Hermione ..
I also like Luna Lovegood coz she's an interesting character and really quirky, and stuff..
Hmm i didnt really like cho chang coz she seemed a bit selfcentered and stuff, and her and harrys relationship was merely based on him liking her for her looks... he didnt really know her... and he was kind of the rebound guy for her, since she lost cedric..
Also i have rather taken a liking to harry. yes he feels like he has to be the hero all the time and is stubborn, bad tempered and heaps more... but really he is just a bombshell of love..hehe. and bravery and all that stuff. He is the most loving and caring person and isn't that self-centered.. all he cares about is the people he loves .. and he is kinda like me too, so i like him as a character. yes at times i read the books and get really annoyed at harry, but i kinda understand why he's all moody and stuff.... i mean after all so many of his loved ones died...and everything,, u cant help but just feel sorry for the guy.
So yea i think i should stop here!!! :)

Fred and George Weasley. They give the whole series the comic relief needed especially when the story turned darker and darker.
I love the way they turn every situation into something funny. They, unlike Percy and Ron, didn't seem affected with their lack of money. Oh, remember when Harry was rumored to be the Heir of Slytherin because he's a Parselmouth? "Make way for the Heir of Slytherin, seriously evil wizard coming through..." or "... he's nipping out to the Chamber of Secrets for a cup of tea with his fanged servant!" Even when George lost an ear, they still managed to do their bit of bantering! And can you imagine them on their first year not scared of Filch or detention (they nicked the Marauders' Map from Filch's office remember?) They would have given James, Sirius, Lupin and Pettigrew a run for their money!!!
But my most favorite Fred & George moment was their great escape from Umbridge!!! That was so very hilarious! I literally "yahooed" the first time I read it.
Too bad JKR needed to kill Fred. Can't forgive her for that. But maybe she was gearing for impact. And killing Harry would have had lesser impact (almost everyone was expecting it) than killing either Fred or George!

Most of them, but I mostly identify with Ginny. She's cool. Also Gred and Forge. They're hysterical. Mrs. Weasley annoyed me a lot with her mollycoddling (no pun intended I assure you) but Mr. Weasley's a very cool dad.
Dumbledore could be very infuriating also, as was Hagrid.
I think a lot of the characters annoyed me at times, and that's what made them feel so real to me, cos real people annoy you all the time, especially your family and friends.
And I have never EVER hated a fictional character as much as I hated Dolores Jane Umbridge! She made me so mad I had to stop readong OotP at times to calm down. Never thought she could have such an effect on me.
I like Sirius and Lupin too. Sirius is a very cool godfather, and Lupin a great teacher and friend.

So I think it's really interesting that no one has said Harry yet. I can totally understand though, he was really annoying in the 5th book, always jumping on Ron and Hermione's cases, and flipping out at everything. But yeah, I guess my favorite character is Hermione. Because I like her. And she's smart. And I really loved Sirius too, and I was so so so so sad when he died. And I don't think Gary Oldman is what I was thinking of when I thought of Sirius, but oh well.

Snape! He although came of cold and callous *Spoiler Warning Do Not Read If Haven't Finished HP7***
when it was shown what he was put through and teased he was just as human as any of us. he was brave, noble, and really loved lily and that love for Lily allowed him to become a better person. I also liked sirius, he was really cool laid back and really cared for harry and his well being, I wish they would have got to be a family together for longer than they had!
*And to the comment made about Harry Potter Being an abomination to God... just because you like harry potter doesnt mean that you are a devil worshiper or are evil! gOSH! It's a fantasy book!!!

I agree sirius was my favorite charcter. He was just cool. Also Snape because he seemed so human compared to the god that is Harry Potter

He was so awesome! Dobby was always trying to help Harry and wouldn't take no for an answer if the boy refused his help.
I already miss him.
I also liked Fred and George. They were great. -sigh- Constantly joking around. Yet they seemed to know when to cut the jokes short; due to the seriousness of the situation.

I agree, Sirius is my fav character. I loved his personality, and I hated it when he died in the 5th book. I was also really mad when they got Gary Oldman to play him, because I was imagining him as more like Viggo Mortinson. But then, he's not British.

Draco Malfoy
At least he's honest about being a pr!ck. More than I can say for the constant lying of Harry Potter.
Ron Weasley
He's broke, and honest about hating it too. Just seems like a regular person.
What I like about these two characters is that they HAVE character..just honest (honestly rotten or honestly good)

i <3ed fred + george, so now i am sooo sad 4 them.
i thought molly weasley was hilarious, especially when she took on Bellatrix in the 7th book. i actually wasnt fond of sirius, found him quite depressing in the 5th book. =[
