Your friends are horribly confused. The Angels won a World Series championship in 2002, and have currently won 60 games and lost only 42 this year. So the fact is that the Angels win a lot more often than they lose.

The Angels are the top team in the American League West Division and are right up there in the ranks of other top American League teams such as the Red Sox, Tigers, Yankees, and Indians. They're always a playoff contender, and won the world series a few years back.

The Angels are in first place in the American League West Division and also have the second best win/loss record in the Major Leagues right now. (60 wins, 42 losses).
The Angels were also the World Series champions in 2002.

The Angels used to have that rep, and at times do stumble in August and September, but have turned things around; as mentioned by others, they won it all in 2002 and are looking good right now (have just won two games of a three game set against the Tigers - REAL tough to do).

Your "friends" don't know what the crap they are talking about! The Angels are one of the three best teams in baseball this year (Boston, Detroit and Angels). They have tons of young talent and should be very good for years to come!

um, your friends are incorrect. the angels were the world champs in 2002 and they are, for the most part, always in the playoffs (which means the final 8 teams vying for the championship after the regular long season ends) ... however, they are not "dominant" because if they were they would have more to brag about than just what happened to them in 2002. there's your answer.

The Angels in thier early days were terrible.
But the Angels today are one of the best in the League.
Thier overall record as a team is 3,633 - 3,748.

Actually, the Angles are one of the best teams in MLB this year with a good chance to get to the playoffs and world series. If you live in that area go out and watch them play, you will like what you see.

Yes they always do lose. As a matter of fact, they are on their way to be the only team in history to not win a single game in a season. Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer.
