This one is not a hard one, so I don't understand the answers.
One acre is 43,560 square feet. Originally the acre was defined as one furlong (660 feet) by one chain (66 feet) -- 660 x 66 = 43560.
20 acres would be 871,200 square feet (20 x 43,560). This would be a square just a bit over 933 feet on each side (933.38). 933.38 x 933.38 = 871,198.22.
An American football field covers 1.32 acres (if you include the end zones), so it would also be just over 15 football fields.
There are indeed 640 square acres in one square mile, so 1/32 of a square mile would also be correct.

General rule of thumb I have always went by, But I'm no mathematician...1 acre is like 200 by 200.... so x that by 20

There are 640 acres per square mile. So if you divide 20 by 640 you get 1/32nd of a square mile.
