i thought, it could be so much better, the writers could have made it more detailed and maybe show us a preview of what happens to rory with her new job and whats next for loreli. i honestly didnt want it to end cuz i loved that show, but like they say all good things come to an end. so what do you think should have happened in the final episode.

The episode was okay for a Season finale not as a series finale. There were so many storylines left hanging. Wouldn't it have been nice to see Luke propose to Lorelai or Emily to say to Lorelai that she loves her or at least give her a hug...
There is a campaign to see if the network would reconsider bringing back GG to wrap up unfinished storylines. Also ASP (the series creator) has expressed an interest in doing a movie.

I Agree the finaly could have been soo much better!!!
1) we never found out if lorelia and luke really get married
2) I hate that rory and logan broke up, i mean i can understand if they broke up because she wasnt ready but the way they showed it was horrible, Logan should have came back in the finale telling rory he would wait for her.
3) What about Sookies baby!
4) What about lane and zach and the tour!
I also saw Lauren Graham was on ELLEN and she said that they didn't know that was their last episode so that could be why it wasn't as good as it could have been, but i don't blame the actors i blame the writers...and truthfully i a little upset with the Palladinos because they just ditched us and even if you don't want to do something when you start a project and make a commitment you should honor that because its the right thing to do. Plus if you just leave people hanging like that it says something about you character and may effect the work you get in the future...no one wants to be left out to dry!

I was left pretty satisfied with how it was ended...everything was tied up and just about everyone was happy in their lives (Logan not with standing). I like how we were left with Luke and Lorelai as happy and together, taking things day by day and then Rory leaving to travel the Obama campaign, and then the Grandparents still get their Friday dinners with Lorelai.
All in all, I think it was a good ending for a rocky season and a half (starting when the Palladino's left the show by backing it in a dark and dusty corner).
But I read that they are hopefully going to have a special movie in a couple of years. So I am crossing my fingers for that.

Weeeeell....I'm glad that Rory got away from that jerkoff Logan. But I agree with the other post...Jess was supposed to take a break from being a Hero to come back and sweep Rory off her feet!! ;)
And DUH...Lorelai was supposed to marry Luke. Not hear a goofy "take all the time you need" comment...sheesh.
I thought it could have been a little better. Sorta was a little anticlimactic :(

sad. i also really wanted roary and logan to get married and got so mad when she said no. and i wish we could have seen loreli and luke get married. that would be good. but overall i thought it was ok. my tuesday nights are empty with out gilmore girls :(

OMG! It ended?! I mean, I didn't watch it all that much and didn't like how they talked fast but I liked a few episodes but I never heard anything about it being cancelled! OMG!!!!!

it was terrible!! it concluded nothing.
poor lorelei might never settle down.
i hope things go well for rory in her new job.
JESS WAS SUPPOSED TO COME BACK DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! becase its jess and rory for ever ever ever love love love love love love love.
it would be cool if lorelei became a lesbian. not kidding.
