Ladies, would your man allow you to ride the bus or subway at night without a male guardian?

I have no male guardian, nor do I need one. If I choose to ride a bus or subway at any time, I will do so. If it happens to be in an area I'm unfamiliar with or uncomfortable in, I will not go alone, but it doesn't need to be with a man. There's power in numbers whatever the gender.

I would not bother to ask, because I would not do that. It is too dangerous for almost anyone ride the bus or subway at night, and I feel truly sorry for anyone who does not have any choice but to ride the bus or subway. Either at night or at all

I wouldn't need to get permission to ride the bus or train at night on my own, but common sense says it's not safe, therefore I wouldn't ride public transport at night alone.

I have owned a car all my driving life, since I was 17.

And no, he probably would not be happy about me being on a bus alone at night, even if we do live in a nice, safe, tiny little city.
