I have a male Betta in a 10 gallon tank with 1 Bleeding Fin Tetra, 2 Neon Tetras, 2 Serpae Tetras. 1 Peppered Corydora Catfish, 1 Sunburst Molly, and 1 Red Molly.

I would like to know what to feed the other fish besides the Betta. I feed my Betta Hikari Betta-Gold. I don't know how to get food to the other fish, my Betta is very, very greedy.

Any strategies?

I would feed a general flake or pellet to all of the fish and add in a sinking pelleted food for the cory. Also feed some daphnia, brine shrimp, bloodworms and similar foods from time to time. All of the fish will manage to get enough to eat, they will learn to stick up for themselves.

well, i feed my mollies and tetras regular flake food, and every other day i give them some dried bloodworms. since the betta is very greedy, i would put his food in first, so that he can go up and start eating. then, while he is distracted, put the different kind of food in the other side of the tank so the other fish can go eat it.

i have some mollies that are greedy so i put some food in the right side of the tank (they know that is where their food goes in) and once they start eating i put food in the left side for the other fish. it usually works well.

otherwise, if that doesnt work, and if other people's suggestions dont work, i would say A) get rid of the betta or B) put it in a different place. i had a betta in a bowl with the plant in the top and he lived for 2 years.

hope this helps!!
