Haitians. And Guatemalans. (I hope I spelled that right, sorry if I didn't)
I live in a very culturally diverse village town-y...place about 35 minutes from Manhattan. There is about every race you can think of, and then some. But mostly Haitians. I'm half, it's almost too many because some kids feel left out from everyone speaking Creole and they don't understand what the Haitian kids are saying. I personally know about 3 words in Creole. It's a beautiful thing that there are a lot of cultures though.

Where I live the South side schools are ruled by whites, north side by blacks. It's very hard to be in either and the competition between schools is fierce. I think its really sad. My generation (1960's) was so much more interested in 'getting along' and leaving the racism from the last generation behind. What happened?
