1992 Blazer with 4.3L Vortec, auto. Wife ran through large puddle, later truck runs rough, then stops, won't start. Hour later, it starts, drives 15 miles, runs rough, stops. Cycle repeats. I change fuel filter, check fuel pump, check distributor, coil etc. I'm getting full starter, and spark. seem to be getting some fuel, but won't start, what gives???

Unfortunately in GM's wisdom they engineered small vent holes [covered by a fine mesh screen] in the bottom of the distributor.
Remove the cap & blow everything dry with compressed air. Concentrate on the module & pickup coil & inside the cap. Make sure they are free of moisture.

Sounds like water vapor in the distributor. After it drys out it will start then as the engine heats up, the water condenses inside the cap. Change the cap and rotor along with the cap gasket.
