do every one who like hard metal songs start listening to them because they felt bad bout some thing ?

I listen to metal for the music. I used to hate the singing, I only listened to it because I liked the double bass. Then I started to like the overall sound of the music. It dos not matter what mood you are in there is always a sub genre of metal for you. Death or black metal if you are pissed off, and folk or power if you are happy.

I started listening to "hard metal" bc it was an opportunity to release tension.
It goes against the grain of commercial music, is rebellious and it stands for not taking any BS.
It grew from there.

I listen to metal when my life is going wrong. I listen to more mellow music when life is going well.
I love both kinds. I use them like medicine.

I listen to them randomly...I also listen to a lot of other stuff....I don't really go by my current mood....just whatever I'm hearing in my head...
